Hull Skin kit for construction of two Dix 430 - Dix 470 - DH 550 Hulls. Single hull components shown.
Skin sections are profiled to precise hull shape with minimal machining required for installation. Sections are fabricated with a jig saw joint and radius chine layer rebates. We recommend skinning below the water line.
Jobert Okoume Marine Ply components, CNC profiled. BS1088.

Cold Moulded Ply Radius Chine Profiles
Cold Moulded Ply Radius Chine Profiles are cut to size and two over lapping layers bonded to Hull structure.
Side Skin sections bonded to hull.
Bottom Skin sections bonded to hull. Skin sections are rebated for centre line glass fibre reinforcement.
Final sanding of hull produces an excellent finish with minimal filling/fairing required before epoxy coating.
Approximately 420 Man Hours for Phase 2, Hull ready for turn.
Chain plate skin section construction requires Biaxial Glass Fibre cloth and carbon fibre tape application by customer.
Resin, Biaxial carbon or SS shroud components are not provided with this kit.
Bulkheads are supplied with a jigsaw joint.
Centre line glass fibre reinforcement installed and filled ready for epoxy coating.
