The Hull bottom skin sections are profiled from Okume marine ply. Radius joints are rebated and the jigsaw joints are profiled to guarantee 1mm epoxy joints throughout. The centre line clamp face is also profiled

A complete bottom section can be bonded together on a flat surface and then bonded to the hull structure which ensures an extremely flat surface requiring little or no fairing.
